Suddenly, with her family by her side at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto, on Saturday 28 February 2026 in her 85th year.  Beloved wife of Tore for 63 years.  Loving mother of Mark Astrom (Sara), Andrew Astrom (Tammie), and Julie Astrom (Mike Wood).  Cherished grandmother of Niklas, Dylan, Ryan, Holly, Katarina, Luke and Patrik.  Predeceased by her parents William Daly and Catherine (nee O’Neill) and her brothers and sisters John Daly (Maureen), Mary Daly, Peter Daly, Margaret L’Heureux (Al), Gerry Daley, Christine Muir (Eddie) and William Daly.  Survived by her sister-in-law Frances Daly. Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews.  Funeral Mass will be held at the CATHEDRAL OF ST. PETER-IN-CHAINS, 411 Reid Street Peterborough, on Friday 6 March 2026 at 1:30 PM.  Interment St. Peter’s Cemetery.  Reception to follow in the Highland Park Funeral Centre.  In memory of Janette and in lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Vincent de Paul Society would be appreciated by the family.  Online condolences may be made at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com
